3. might

　　might為may的過去式。might表示推測時(shí)，表示可能性低于may（此時(shí)might沒有過去式的意思），當(dāng)請求講時(shí)，比may的語氣更委婉。

　　He is away from school. He might be sick.

　　Might I use your dictionary?
