基數(shù)詞的表示法

(1)以下是最基本的基數(shù)詞，學(xué)習(xí)者必須牢記:

one 1 two 2 three 3 four 4five 5 six 6 seven 7 eight 8nine

9 ten 10 eleven 11 twelve 12thirteen 13 fourteen 14 fifteen

15 sixteen 16seventeen 17 eighteen 18 nineteen 19 twenty 20thirty

90 a hundred 100a thousand 1000 a million 1000000

(2)21—99的表示法。先說“幾十”，再說“幾”，中間加連字號:twenty-five 25 thirty-two 32 forty-nine 49eighty-seven

87 ninety-nine 99 forty-four 44(3)101—999的表示法。先說“幾百”，后接and，再加末尾兩位數(shù)(或末位數(shù)):two hundred and six 206 four hundred and sixty 460

序數(shù)詞

(1)序數(shù)詞的前面一般要用定冠詞the表示第幾的意思。例如:

You are the second one to know the way.你是第二個知道方法的人。

(2)表示編號的時候，經(jīng)常把基數(shù)詞放在名詞的前面表示順序，相當(dāng)于the+序數(shù)詞+名詞，也可以用“名詞+基數(shù)詞”。

例如:Lesson Five =the fifth lesson第五課。

(3)表示分?jǐn)?shù)的時候，分子用基數(shù)詞，分母用序數(shù)詞，當(dāng)分子大于1的時候，分母用復(fù)數(shù)形式。例如:2/5two fifths.

(4)序數(shù)詞在名詞的前面經(jīng)常作定語修飾名詞，但是當(dāng)名詞的前面已經(jīng)有了物主代詞的時候，序數(shù)詞的前面不再用定冠詞the。例如:

This is my third question.這是我的第三個問題。

(5)序數(shù)詞可以表示日期。

例如:March 18th,1978(1978年3月18日)

注意:數(shù)詞的用法除了以上講到的基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞的用法之外，還有小數(shù)的用法，倍數(shù)的表達(dá)法等，我們會在以后的學(xué)習(xí)中逐漸學(xué)到。

倍數(shù)表示法

a.主語+謂語+倍數(shù)(或分?jǐn)?shù))+as + adj.+as。例如

I have three times as many as you.我有你三倍那么多

b.主語+謂語+倍數(shù)(分?jǐn)?shù))+the size (amount.,enn...f..。例如:

The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.地球是月球的49倍。

c.主語+謂語+倍數(shù)(分?jǐn)?shù))+形容詞(副詞)比較級+than.。例如:

The grain output is 8 percent higher this year than that of lastyear.今年比去年糧食產(chǎn)量增加8%。

d.還可以用by+倍數(shù)，表示增加多少倍。例如:

The production of grain has been increased by four times this year.今年糧食產(chǎn)

量增加了4倍。

2)分?jǐn)?shù)表示法的構(gòu)成:基數(shù)詞代表分子，序數(shù)詞代表分母。分子大于1時，分子的序數(shù)詞

用單數(shù)，分母的序數(shù)詞用復(fù)數(shù)。例如:

1/3 one-third;3/37 three and three-sevenths.
